Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines our procedures for refunds and service cancellations. This policy is part of and subject to our Terms of Service.

Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase or upgrade to a higher-tier plan. This applies to first-time purchases and plan upgrades only.

Service Defects

We will issue refunds if:

• The Service materially fails to meet advertised specifications
• Technical issues on our end prevent you from using the Service
• Extended service unavailability not caused by scheduled maintenance

EU and UK Consumer Withdrawal Rights

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the statutory right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason ("cooling-off period").

To exercise your withdrawal right, inform us of your decision by a clear statement sent to contact@cookieframe.com. Upon valid withdrawal, we will reimburse you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice.

If you requested that the Service begin during the withdrawal period and subsequently exercise your withdrawal right, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to what has been provided until the time of withdrawal.

Australian Consumer Guarantees

If you are a consumer in Australia, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund for a major failure. This section does not limit those guarantees.

Refund Process

To request a refund:

1. Email contact@cookieframe.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
2. Include your account email address
3. Provide a brief explanation for your refund request
4. Allow 5-7 business days for processing

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

• Subscription fees after the 14-day refund period (except where consumer law requires otherwise)
• Partial billing periods after cancellation
• Custom development or professional services work
• Administrative or processing fees

Cancellation and Billing

When you cancel your subscription:

• Your service continues until the end of your current billing period
• No partial or prorated refunds for unused time within the billing period
• Your account will be downgraded to the Free plan at the end of the billing period
• No carry-over of unused quotas or credits

Exceptions

We may make exceptions to this policy at our discretion. Consumer rights under applicable law (including EU, UK, and Australian consumer protection laws) are not affected by this policy and take precedence where they provide greater protection.

Changes to Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases made before the change.
